Mondays aren't any better in Spain

So...it's Monday morning and I still have the same old Monday morning drag. Just sitting here finishing up some homework while Matt catches some more zzzz's. The weekend was rather uneventful, but relaxing none the less. I've had a real bad sore throat so I've just been drinking lots of water. I feel better today, but it's still bugging me. I think it's all the pollen from the trees. When it's breezy you can actually see clumps of the stuff floating through the air like snow. A lot of people actually walk around with face masks over their nose and mouth. As silly as it looks, I'm seriously contemplating invensting in one. It doesn't exactly make a fashion statement though.

On Saturday night Matt and I went out for tapas with our flatmate Claudia from Sicily and her friend Sophie from France. Since Claudia doesn't speak any english, and eveyone else speaks fluent spanish...I had no choice. As horrible as my grammer was...I did get the point across...and managed to talk about relative things like California and the States, not just things like pens and pencils and clothes and stuff.

Alright...the beast has arisen...so now I'm going to finish getting ready. Laters!

Kate & Matt,
Kate I have been reading your blogs. Sounds like a lot of fun but also a lot of frustration. Things are really busy here. The work just keeps piling up as we move forward with the second casino. The hardwood floors in my house are being laid and should be completed Monday. Decided to go with a dark color (graphite). Within the next couple of weeks the painter will be here. Going to paint the walls a light gray called Relaxed Khaki with white trim. Will have a couple of accent walls to break it up. If all goes well the house should be finished within the next month. I have a pretty good idea of what furniture I am going to buy. I am going contemporary but not real contemporary. Would describe it as modern contemporary. Bought some weights, a bench and a cross trainer. Been using them almost everyday. The boat runs great. You would love to drive it. Hits almost 50 miles an hours and turns on a dime. Have fun and I love you. Say hi to Matt.
