Mac n Cheese isn't worth $30 but a postcard or letter is always appreciated. That is all. :)

Dear Kate,
Lo siento mucho!!! I am setting up your site on my office computer. Will write you an extended response. Love, PAPA
Dear Katie,
We all miss you but know you are having a great time, experiencing totally different cultures/art/
the life of different towns and cities. We are not doing much here, just a couple of seniors hanging out at home most of the time. Last week on Thursday, June 28, I picked up Sabrina, Kendall and Sydney, who swam all afternoon and the next day went to your house in Tahoe for few days. They are with their Dad this week, camping in the Eastern Oregon mountains. They will spend some time with Uncle Vincent in mid-summer and maybe come back here for some more sun and fun. Your car is fine. I trimmed back the plum tree that borders the driveway. Your car fits there perfectly and is in the shade all day. Its covered with a tarp and is out of the sun. I was at an arbitration in Oakland Unified School district two weeks ago and met a lawyer named Bo (Robert) Links who is a Cal Bear. We joked about Cal v. Standford. I am slated to work as an arbitrator two days in July in Salinas where our family used to live. Kind of interesting going back to see what has changed--probably little. I see Kelly off and on. She dropped in last week when the fire made it difficult if not impossible for a while for her to go home. She got some additional river work and ran in to our house to do some laundry and grab a meal. We see Sierra now an again. She still loves the pool and is a real pest when the little kids are here. She sees them as sheep that need to be herded--even in the water. I will check your blog entries now on a regular basis and post comments. I would tell you a lot more about what's going on, but not much is going on!! Granny tells me you have your other ticket home and if you get too miserable, lonely, or bored you can always come home. By the way Michael graduated from high school. We went to an afternoon party for him this last Saturday.
Love, Papa.
